I’m getting prepped for a wonderful Christmas day.
Washoe Valley is carpeted in snow, with more coming over the mountains any minute. I’m surrounded by loving friends and family. I’m newly retired, and a good piece of each day is totally mine – a great gift for the days to come. Our new puppy, Jack, has informed me he’s eager for a playful Christmas day and will share his favorite stuffed rabbit, Doug, with me.
I feel so blessed this Christmas season. At age 76, I will make a perfect angel in the snow and look up at a blue sky while saying a prayer of thanks to my God.
