Mission statement

September 6, 2020 by Don Kuhl

Very few people have asked for my corporate advice on any aspect of business.

It’s probably a good thing. I miss the mark quite often.

However, experience has proved me correct on one point: Staying true to a clear, worthy mission is the most important thing I can do to be successful.

Later, it dawned on me that a personal mission statement may be equally as significant, particularly as we enter the last few chapters of our lives. I created mine on my 70th birthday. I’ve stuck to it so far. It’s helped me set my priorities. It’s given me purpose.

I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.

If you will be so kind, share your personal mission in 25 or fewer words.

I’ll give each of yours serious thought. And get back to you with mine.
