Ring-a-ding-ding

March 11, 2021 by Don Kuhl

My guess is, I spend more time looking for my phone than using it. It probably saves me some bucks but adds to my frequent frustration.

Where might my phone be?

What pair of pants did I have on last night? Was I wearing a jacket?

I’ll bet it fell out of my pocket when I reached down to pick up my lost pair of glasses.

Maybe I left it on the table at that Mexican restaurant.

I’ll bet someone is trying to call me right now (probably not).

How wonderful was it when people didn’t expect me to answer my phone immediately? When my phone was on the living room table next to the answering machine I rarely played.

At 75, I must be more important now. Or is it true that stuff needs my instant attention?

Good grief! What has happened to the reasonable me? I need to go fishing – without a line.
