Scratching the itch

October 9, 2023 by Don Kuhl

Retirement didn’t work out for me. Lordy, I tried. I bought good books to read. I talked friends into going to lunch with me and lingering. I purchased a movie package for late night viewing. I bought a new frying pan. I washed my car. Three times.

Nothing took the place of my joy for work.

So against the advice of almost everyone, I started a new company, Connections Central, LLC.

I figured I should tackle something big. Harvard researchers and others discovered we humans were not connecting with each other. Many of us, particularly older folks like me, were feeling lonely and depressed. Research was telling us that the biggest way to stay healthy and happy is to build and maintain positive relationships.

I got busy exploring one solution to the problem and found many fabulous volunteers to join in.

Maybe you wish to learn more.

Email me at [email protected]. We could have a bunch of fun together.

And help others.
