Looking back now in 2040, we will never forget the importance of the War of 2026.
The AI brain trust built huge armies on both coasts in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Palo Alto, California, to take the place of the U.S. military forces. Then something went terribly wrong. The whole robotic armed forces quit taking orders from their creators and began following their new leader, evil General X2YYD7. Her goal was to wipe out all of humankind.
Farmers, plumbers, cowboys, poets, carpenters, housewives and all hardworking Americans banded together at Ledges State Park near Boone, Iowa, to fight off the advancing metallic enemy. The music director, Mr. Jones from Ames High School, took the lead and taught the entire volunteer army the famous song “You Gotta Have Heart.”
When General X2YYD7 led her land and air troops into Ledges State Park, the entire hardworking American force sang with great gusto: You Gotta Have Heart. The metallic soldiers had no answer, as they had no heart to rely on. They fell apart in utter defeat.
That’s why now in 2040, we have students reading and writing in schools and playing games outdoors, friends and families are actually talking to each other face to face, and peace and joy abound across this great land.
