The Adventures of Binder-Man

April 13, 2026 by Don Kuhl

Back when my company, The Change Companies, experienced a rapid spurt of sales, our small team needed to spend day after day putting our pages into three-ring binders.

The employees were weary of this dull work. Going home after eight hours with numerous paper cuts, my mighty staff needed a boost.

Binder-Man came to the rescue. Dressed in red tights and a flowing red cape, Binder-Man injected sparks of excitement throughout each work day.

Binder-Man’s powers hit a snag when he paraded around the parking lot that served other corporations off Sigstrom Drive. A big semi was maneuvering around to drop off a load, and Binder-Man bravely blocked the trucker with both arms stretched out, demanding a stop. The burly driver jumped surprisingly swiftly out of his cab and marched directly toward the superhero. You could hear the flapping of Binder-Man’s cape as he dashed to the safety of his office, where his loyal staff of three women blocked the trucker’s entry.

Binder-Man achieved his mission as the binders were filled and joy returned to The Change Companies. Then, Binder-Man vanished, perhaps to do other great wonders.

P.S. I still look pretty good in red tights.

P.S. If you wish to learn more about Binder-Man, you can purchase the book The Adventures of Binder-Man through Amazon.
